Salary Scale : N$478,220 – N$502,753
Motor Vehicle Allowance : N$102,701, 00 per annum
Housing Allowance : N$68,188, 00 per annum

Minimum Requirement: A B Degree at NQF L7 in Financial Accounting, Business Accounting
or related field or equivalent qualification plus nine (9) years appropriate experience in a
financial work environment of which three (3) years must be at Chief Accountant Grade 6
level or Overhead Supervisory. Applicants with the knowledge of Pastel Accounting, V.I.P.
Payroll, Excel spreadsheet and Power Point will be given preference.

Main duties of the job:
 Prepare Budget Calendar for the Regional Council.
 Responsible for budget preparation, implementation and control.
 Advise the Chief Regional Officer on all financial matters.
 Submit quarterly reports on budget expenditure and revenue to the Director
 Prepare submissions on virementation for approval
 Participate in the formulation of the Council Strategic Plan.
 Attend to all financial audit inquiries.
