DELIVERY DRIVER (PHARMACEUTICAL) – Deo Pharma

You generally need a valid Namibian driver's license (Code B or C1) with a clean driving record, and often a minimum of a Grade 10 certificate. Experience in delivery driving and familiarity with local routes across Namibia are highly advantageous for this role.

Daily tasks involve collecting pharmaceutical products from the warehouse, planning efficient delivery routes, and safely transporting items to pharmacies, clinics, or hospitals across various Namibian regions. This includes verifying orders, maintaining delivery logs, and ensuring product integrity during transit.

Namibian logistics culture values reliability, punctuality, and respectful interactions with clients and colleagues. You're expected to be professional, adhere to local road safety regulations, and be adaptable to varying traffic and road conditions, especially when travelling long distances.

While direct promotions might be limited within the driver role itself, experienced and dedicated drivers can potentially advance to supervisory positions in dispatch or logistics coordination. Further training and consistent performance could also lead to opportunities in warehouse management or inventory control.
