Day-to-day tasks typically involve coordinating local health awareness campaigns and outreach programs focused on public health issues like HIV/AIDS prevention or substance abuse. Volunteers also assist with data collection and reporting on community health initiatives.
What is the typical work culture and what are the expectations for a volunteer in a Namibian municipal setting?
Namibian municipal work culture often values dedication, punctuality, and community engagement, especially for public-facing roles. Volunteers are generally expected to be proactive, respectful of local customs, and work collaboratively with municipal staff and community members.
