CREDITORS CLERK – FP du Toit Transport 472 views

The above-mentioned position is vacant at FP du Toit Transport Group, Finance Department. We have been in operation since 1968 and have diversified over time from a solely long-haul operation to one which now includes Pro Parcel Distribution (a part-load and distribution operation), Jet.X Couriers (an express road and air courier service) as well as Wesbank Transport (a full-load and abnormal division). This is in line with our strategy to offer our clients a complete range of services to satisfy all their logistical requirements. This position report to the Chief Financial Officer and is based in Windhoek.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Key responsibilities include:

• Capturing of invoices and creditors reconciliation
• Maintaining of a proper filling system
• Petty Cash
• Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Creditors Clerk

THE SUITABLE APPLICANT WILL HAVE:

• A valid grade 12 with at least a C grade in Accounting and/or Mathematics
• National diploma in Accounting and Finance will be an advantage
• 2-3 years applied experience
• Knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational skills manage a number of conflicting priorities
• Professional and confident attitude
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively work with a diverse workforce
• Computer literate
• Ability to meet strict deadlines

• Namibian Citizenship
