Opportunity | Duty Description

British American Tobacco has an exciting opportunity for a Country Manager to join our team in Namibia based in Windhoek. The Successful candidate will be responsible for Leading and managing British American Tobacco’s business in Namibia, with the view towards achieving the company vision as well as delivering business objectives.

 

The Country Manager will:

• Manage a team to effectively deliver on key business objectives in Namibia.
  • Support the 3rd Party Distributor to ensure sales targets are achieved and supply chain is efficient.
  • Understand local consumer and trade behavior and analyze market demand and sale forecasts.
  • Define SMART objectives for each cycle activity and execute on plans to ensure objectives are met.
  • Grow our brands by providing key insights to support head office team in making decisions.
  • Prepare, develop, train and motivate a high-performance team.
• Manage and control the end market budgets.

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

• Degree in Marketing, Business or any other related field.
  • Minimum of 9 years of overall experience in the FMCG industry, 6 of which should be within the Tobacco Industry.
  • At least 5 years should represent management experience preferably at national / country wide level.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills;
