CONTROLLER ADMINISTRATION | Namib Mills

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

To provide the necessary support and assistance to production in order to ensure optimum efficiencies.

KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration:

Daily production planning and raw material ordering.

Maintenance scheduling in conjunction with Production and Workshop.

Maintenance/implementation/improvement of the integrated Health & Safety/ISO/HACCP Management Systems.

Implement and maintain standards/measurements to improve efficiencies and provide accurate and timeous reports.

Management:

Manage/control packaging materials i.e.; stock/orders/design/supplier contracts and ensure FIFO principal is

applied.

Manage/control office administration and ad hoc tasks as required by superior.

Manage/control all personnel matters i.e. overtime, leave, protective clothing.

Manage pasta supply contracts with relevant contractors.

Manage/control raw materials i.e.; flour/semolina/additives/other.

Manage Storeman and Clerk: Administration and their respective activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE 

Relevant Diploma (NQF 6) with 5 years relevant experience

OR

Relevant Degree (NQF 7) with 2 years relevant experience

OTHER

Proficient in English

Technical background will be an added advantage

Namibian citizen

Computer literate with mastering of Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
