CONTROLLER ADMINISTRATION – Namib Mills

Key Responsibilities

• Stock & Inventory Control
• Assist with daily and monthly stocktaking activities, ensuring all stock counts are completed accurately and timeously.
• Assist with pallet movements, tracking and inventory control.
• Assist with stock transfers and reconcile discrepancies identified.
• Participate in monthly stocktaking and inventory verification activities.
• Issue and transfer packaging materials accurately based on approved requisitions from internal customers.
• Assist with RCPs, adjustments and assemblies.
• Warehouse Administration & Documentation
• Maintain accurate and timely filing of all warehouse and inventory documentation.
• Assist with stock invoices and ensure they are completed within established procedures and timelines.
• Assist with processing purchase orders, invoices, GRVs and payment documentation.
• Ensure all administrative documentation is accurately completed, approved and signed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Warehouse Operations & Internal Customer Support
• Support internal customers and the Packing Department with required raw materials in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
• Assist with communication and collaboration with team members and other departments to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Assist with the handling, segregation and control of rejected packaging materials in accordance with company procedures.
• Compliance, Safety & Food Safety
• Assist with the administration of hygiene, housekeeping, occupational health and safety, and food safety requirements.
• Ensure compliance with ISO, HACCP, FSSC 22000 and company standards.
• General / Other Responsibilities
• Perform any other ad hoc duties and responsibilities assigned by management or supervisors.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF 4) with 3 years’ relevant administrative experience.
• OR
• Relevant certificate in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Inventory Management or a related field.
• Knowledge in a Distribution environment will be an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience in Accpac will be an advantage.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Willing to work overtime, weekends and on public holidays.
• Namibian citizen.
• Computer literate with a good mastering of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Willing to work after hours and weekends.
