Rennies Consolidated is an equal opportunity employer based in Walvis Bay. The Company currently has a vacant position in its Shipping Container Depot and is looking for an appropriately qualified Container Repairer to join its ranks as soon as possible.

Minimum Requirements…

The emphasis of the job falls on practical efficiency of attending to container repairs and leading the repair team. The position’s main responsibilities will be to: –

· Shipping container repairs and leading repair team.

· Container repairs according to company procedures and customer requirements.

· Related reporting and admin functions, including computer capturing.

· Control of repair materials and spares, including inventory counts and re-order.

· Preparing and submitting quotes as required

· Repair company equipment as requested

· General housekeeping and ad-hoc duties

Job Specification…

The successful incumbent should be in possession of the following: –

· 3 – 5 Years metal fabrication or related working experience

· Field related qualification would be added advantage

· Grade 12 and basic arithmetic

· Valid Drivers license

· Interpersonal and English written communication skills

· Fluency in English

· Namibian citizen
