We are looking for a reliable and quality focused Confectioner for GROVE SUPERSPAR. This position consists of daily production of bakery and confectionary products in line with approved recipes, quality standards and customer demand within the Retail store environment. This role ensures compliance with Food safety and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, bake, decorate and finish bakery products according to recipes, and production plans.
- Assist with special orders and seasonal bakery production according to approved specifications.
- Ensure bakery displays and service areas are replenished timeously to support product availability.
- Ensure product quality, appearance, consistency and freshness always meets requirements.
- Assist the department to achieve gross profit and sales targets through efficient production.
- Record and report damaged stock, quality concerns and variances to Supervisor promptly.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures are always adhered to.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction throughout.
Requirements
- Grade 12
- Minimum of 3 years confectionary experience.
- Experience working with bakery equipment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
- Knowledge of FIFO principles and stock rotation.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team.
