Purpose:
Day to day computer operations including incident handling performance monitoring routine start up close down and routine backup restore.
Responsibilities:
Increase operational efficiency and suggest solutions to enhance cost effectiveness.
Ensure client retention and satisfaction by delivering a service that is consistent, seamless and error free.
Proactively deal with client queries within the agreed turn-around times to resolve Computer Intelligence queries by monitoring alerts and follow / up exceptions with relevant support areas and do performance continuous health checks.
Comply with governance in terms of legislative and audit requirements.
Minimize system downtime through pro-active monitoring and planning and ensuring minimization of recurring incidents.
Monitor all online services/system via available monitoring and address any anomalies to prevent downtime.
Monitor Prognosis, Online banking and Mobile banking and monitor networks
Run Mainframe batch via Control/M and ECS.
Perform Mainframe shutdowns and IPLs.
Monitor and attend to BBISS, ECS, SOI and CHG alerts on a continuous basis.
Execute all planned/unplanned changes or special instructions.
Experience and Qualifications:
2-3 years Diploma or Degree.
Experience in Core banking systems will be an advantage.
