COMPETITION DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (GRADE D1) wanted at National Training Authority

Duty Station: Head Office

Reporting to: Manager: WorkSkills Namibia

Purpose: To coordinate and facilitate the preparation and conducting skills competitions, including the Selection Competitions (SC) and the National Skills Competition (NSC). To also coordinate and facilitate the participation of Namibian teams at regional and international skills competitions. To facilitate the transference of skills competition experience to the local TVET system to contribute to the overall development and promotion of the TVET system and skills competitions in Namibia.

Key Performance Areas

• Selection Competitions (SC);
• National Skills Competition (NSC);
• Coordinates Regional and International Skills Competitions;
• Transference of Skills Competition Experiences to TVET System; and

Qualifications and Experience

• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Education or equivalent qualification (NQF Level 7) and
• Three (3) years’ relevant working experience (Skills Competition Development/ Coordination, Curriculum Development and/ or Project Management).
