CLINICAL MANAGER – Medical Imaging

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all statutory, regulatory, and professional standards
• Oversee clinical quality assurance, protocols, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage and mentor radiographers, sonographers, and support staff
• Ensure optimal use, maintenance, and safety of imaging equipment
• Manage staff rosters, performance appraisals, training, and competency assessments
• Collaborate with radiologists, referring clinicians, and senior management
• Monitor and manage departmental budgets, stock, and resources
• Lead audits, incident management, and risk mitigation processes
• Drive a culture of patient safety, service excellence, and teamwork

Requirements

• Degree Radiography
• Current registration with the relevant professional council
• Minimum of 3 years’ clinical experience, with hands-on experience in CT, MRI, and Mammography
• Proven management or supervisory experience in a clinical/radiology/health care environment
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety, quality assurance, and clinical governance
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
