CLINICAL CONSULTANT – WINDHOEK OFFICE

The successful incumbent will report to the- Manager: Administration. • Grade 12 with Professional nurse or equivalent qualification, registered with the Healthcare Professions Council of Namibia.
• 3 Years administrative experience, including In clinical protocols
• Professional communication skills
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans. English and Oshiwambo
• implementation and understanding of clinical protocols
• Strong clinical experience especially in HIV and Diabetes Administration environment
• Compassion towards patients

• Results driven and focused
• Computer literate
• Undertake calls to all member registered under the Disease Management Programme (HIV and Diabetes patients), authorization procedures Including receipt loading, processing and management of patient benefits clinical assessment and management of hospital admissions  and diseases

• Oversee and ensure compliance to clinical protocols and fund and benefit reimbursement rules
• Process and update reports of members cases from Health Care Professionals to ensure service level agreement compliance
• Communicate clinical decisions to Interested parties and / or Healthcare professionals
• Identify clinic al exceptions for escalation and appropriate intervention to the Medical Advisor.
• Pro-actively engage with Healthcare professionals and Members to build and maintain a professional relationship
• Provide clinical input and recommendation on Managed Core reports
