Key Responsibilities
- Prepare a daily timesheet.
- Archiving of files after verifying the report number references.
- Complete audit section with guidance from team members.
- Complete system descriptions based on the understanding of the process.
- Prepare snapshot.
- Conclude on the working paper, system descriptions and audit program.
- Understand the relationship between risk, control and governance and how to apply the understanding.
- Interview client.
- Maintain proper lines of communication and remain professional.
- Any improper communication or behaviour should be communicated to the manager.
- Continuous communication on outstanding information hindering audits from being completed.
- Communicate any delays by auditee.
- Seek help as soon as there is uncertainty.
- Communicate effectively and professionally in written communication including proper use of grammar and punctuation.
- Meet deadlines.
- Work on full capacity on tasks given.
- Audit file needs to be neat and spelling accurate.
- Using the appropriate audit terminology such as verify, recalculate and enquire.
- Identify the relevant employees that will assist with the audit, introduce yourself to the auditee.
- Respects confidentiality.
- Effectively using Excel and Word.
- Built and maintain professional relationships across entity.

Requirements
- BComm Accounting Degree (Completed or in Progress – final year of studies) or equivalent.
- Be willing to study towards a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) qualification.
- Valid Namibian driver’s license.
- Willing to work overtime and/or weekends.
- Computer literate with a good mastering of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Proficient in English (written & spoken)
- Namibian citizen.
