CLERK: CASHBOOK RECONCILIATION – Agra Ltd

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Reconciles Agra’s bank account
statements on Sage X3
• Verifies cash and EFT transfers on
Agra’s bank accounts
• Identifies and follows’ up on unknown
payments and unknown receipts on
Agra’s bank accounts
• Reconciles the cashbook of all
branches with the bank
• Performs bank journals, i.e.
preparing VAT, amendment of
errors,etc.
• Issues receipts for clients
• Assists with system issues/
trouble-shooting
• Cash-up’s resolution
• Filing of documents
QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES:
• Namibian citizenship
• A Grade 12 Certificate
• Minimum of 3 years experience in
accounting and/ or bookkeeping
• Must have experience in bulk
processing
• Proficiency in English
• Computer Literacy (Sage X3 & MS
Office with specific regard to Excel)
