The position reports to the Clearing Manager and is based at our Brakwater Depot in Windhoek.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure framing, clearing and release of consignments for delivery by customs.
- Screen invoices for correctness and ensure correct commodity and CPC codes are used.
- Complete VAT payment and VOC sheets.
- Completion of Import and Export documentation (SAD500).
- Assist in the verification process.
- Any other duties in line with the responsibilities of a Clearing Agent.
Requirements
- Valid Grade 12 (with at least 23 points).
- 2-5 years’ applied experience in framing and clearing of customers documents.
- Must be familiar with Customs & Excise procedures (Classification, Import & Export requirements).
- Must have sound knowledge of Asycuda World system its rules and regulations.
- Prepared to work irregular hours night shifts (21h00-07h00), weekends and shifts.
- Namibian Citizenship.
- Code of Conduct (Police Clearance Certificate) not older than 3 months
- Being in possession of a valid Code B driver’s license will be an added advantage.
