Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily cleaning services for office premises and sanitation facilities, including sweeping, mopping and wiping. Toilet facilities shall be cleaned at least twice daily, while offices shall be cleaned twice daily or more frequently as required to maintain a clean and hygienic environment
- Polish of floors at least twice (2) a week, were applicable
- Replace toilet paper as need arise
- Supplementing of liquid hand soap and air fresheners blocks must be done regularly or as need arise.
- Daily cleaning (sweeping and mopping) of, reception areas, corridors and stairs
- Daily cleaning of window seals
- Empty of waste bins three (3) times a day and cleaning them twice a week e.g. Monday and Thursday
- Vacuum cleaning of carpets at least twice a week, were applicable
- Polishing of furniture at least twice a week
- Refill of drinking water in the aqua coolers as need arise
- Removal of furniture and cleaning of areas once a month
- Must undertake any relevant duties as assigned from time to time by the supervisor
Requirements
- Minimum requirement: None
- Grade 10 Certificate or equivalent qualification on (NQF Level 2) with E symbol in English;
- Comprehensive curriculum vitae, certified copies of the academic qualifications; Namibian Identify Document;
- Valid Certificate of Conduct;
- Police declaration indicating whether the applicant is active in politics or has a high profile in any political party/association or organisation;
- Able to work long hours and under pressure.
