Cleaner (1 Year Fixed Term Contract)
Position summary

Job description
- Clean offices, change house, kitchen and toilets daily.
- Clean windows, glass partitions and mirrors.
- Clean floors and walls by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing and polishing.
- Mix the cleaning liquids in correct and safe quantities.
- Wipe down desks and chairs by using appropriate cleaning materials.
- Empty trash bins and make sure that all trash is properly disposed.
- Replenish towels, soap and toilet paper in bathrooms regularly.
- Spray insecticides as directed to prevent insect infestation.
- Wash dishes after meetings or company functions.
- Ensure compliance to all B2Gold Safety, Health and Environmental policies and procedures
- Develop and implement good housekeeping principles and practices
Minimum requirements
- Minimum Grade 10 / NQF Level 3.
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience.
- Experience in a mining environment will be an advantage.
- Preference will be given to Otavi and Otjiwarongo residents.
- Women and persons from marginalised communities are encouraged to apply.
