Qualifications, experience and skills:
⦁ A National Diploma at NQF level 6 in the following field of study: Nature Conservation, Wildlife Management, Protected Areas Management, Conservation Biology, Environmental Management or related biodiversity management field, plus three (3) years appropriate experience. Serving staff members must have their probation confirmed at the level of Warden Grade 9 plus three (3) years of appropriate experience.
Additional requirements:
⦁ A valid Code BE Driver’s license.
Job description:
⦁ Support the coordination of conservation hunting activities of the Directorate of Wildlife and National Parks and effective implementation thereof.
⦁ Support the facilitation and management of the set up and writing of theoretical and practical examination for professional hunters and hunting guides.
⦁ Coordinate and manage hunting contracts between the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Tourism and Conservancies.
⦁ Monitor and evaluate the performance of hunting contracts in conservancies.

Job description:
⦁ Conservation and care of wildlife, management of protected areas, and implementation of protected area management plans.
⦁ Manage and regulate the use of wildlife resources and strive for biodiversity conservation, maintenance, and restoration.
⦁ Enforcement of Nature Conservation Laws for the preservation and rehabilitation of the natural ecosystem and biodiversity therein.
⦁ Control and manage concessions.
⦁ Provide, supervision, administration, coordination, and management of parks and their staff.
⦁ Drafting and summarizing and submitting various reports as expected by the reporting system in the directorate.
⦁ Manage relationships between neighbors/residents and park authorities.
