CHIEF TECHNICAL SERVICES & MAINTENANCE (D1))

1. Primary Functions:

To plan all operations of road construction, maintenance of building and mechanical workshop as well conducts physical supervision of those sections

1. KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

• Road construction/maintenance
• Construction of houses, pavements etc. by municipal teams.
• Workshop/mechanical section management
• Administration & reporting
• Staff management
• General divisional administration and management

1. Qualifications:

B-Degree/Diploma NQF level 7 in Civil or Mechanical Engineering plus 5 years dvi and mechanical experience of which 3 years must be at supervisory level. A relevant post graduate qualification at NQF level 8 will be an added advantage.

1. Required skills

• Supervisory skills (delegation, operational planning, organization etc.)
• Sound interpersonal / communication skills other relevant legislation
• Computer Literate.
• Ability to initial project and policies
• Vahd BE Code Driving License.
