• Manage the Solid Waste Management Division.
• Planning & budgeting of all municipal waste management infrastructure and services projects and continuous financial control of the division’s budget (capital and operations).
• Implementation (planning, design and construction) of all SWM Projects and Contracts (Project Management).
• Develop and Manage the full spectrum of the Solid Waste Management function.
• Develop and regularly update the master plans for all Solid Waste Management related infrastructure (Strategic Planning -5 to 15 year planning horizon).
• Manage the Research and investigations pertaining to Solid Waste Management and keep up-to-date with developments in the field of Solid Waste both nationally and internationally.
• Manage the divisional Fleet/Equipment.
• Human Resources Management.

A minimum period of ten (10) years experience in `Environmental Management/ Engineering/Science/Project Management and Contract Law after registration as Incorporated Engineer or as Professional Engineer.

Code B/BE Drivers license and Registration as Professional Engineer with Engineering Council of Namibia for the Engineering qualification.
