⦁ CHIEF NAVIGATING OFFICER

Key Performance Areas:

To monitor all navigation, positioning of vessel, safety, and security functions on-board the ship including maintenance of safety equipment, ensuring compliance of legal requirements, assisting the Master whenever required, and to supervise deck personnel.
Education and Experience Requirements:
⦁ S4 Higher National Diploma in Maritime Studies plus valid Certificate of Competency as Chief Mate or equivalent.
⦁ GMDSS Certificate plus valid Ancillary courses.
⦁ Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience as 2nd Navigating Officer, preferably with some offshore experience on a production/prospecting vessel.
