The role involves advising the Board and Executive Management on compliance with Namibian laws—including the Companies Act, Petroleum Act, and Public Procurement Act—as well as managing litigation, contract review, and corporate governance matters. Daily tasks include leading legal risk assessments, overseeing in-house counsel and external legal panels, and liaising with institutions such as the Office of the Attorney General and the Namibian Competition Commission.
