Duration: Five (5) years contract renewable based on good performance E
Grade: E

Salary: 210 582-219 090 p.a.
Motor vehicle allowance: 89 316 p.a.
Cell phone Allowance: NS1200.00 p/m
Housing allowance: 20% of basic salary if not owning a house.
Housing subsidy: 40 % if owning a house with a mortgage bond.
Medical Aid: 85% p/m
Pension Contribution: 21.7% of Basic salary
Bonus: 13″1 Cheaque
Primary purpose of the job:
To plan, lead, coordinate, control and manage all executive affairs of the Village Council on business principles, attract current and potential investors while ensuring full compliance with all legislative, socio-political, and environmental requirements.
Key performance areas:
⦁ Implementation and maintaining of the Council’s Strategic Plan
⦁ Policy development and implementation
⦁ Executive functions
⦁ Budgeting
⦁ Reporting and Accounting
⦁ Human Resource Development
⦁ Corporate Communications and Customer care
⦁ Risk Management
⦁ Manage organizational operations in line with the Local Authorities Act and Regulations
Minimum Requirements:
⦁ Recognized Degree in Business/ Public Administration at NQF level 7 or an appropriate qualification @ NQF Level 7
⦁ A master’s degree in any of the above will be an added advantage.
⦁ Plus, five (5) years appropriate experience in a senior management level.
⦁ Knowledge of Local Authorities Act, Act 23 of 1992)
⦁ Leadership skills
⦁ Emotional Intelligence
⦁ Code B driver s license
⦁ No criminal record
⦁ All foreign qualification must be accompanied by an evaluation certificate from NQA.
