Wi tv lei Village Council seeks to recruit a suitably, qualified and experienced Namibian Citizens who is dynamic and has proven abilities to administer and execute his/her duties and responsibilities within the frame work of the Local Authorities Act ,1992 and other relevant legislation.

Five (5) Year Contract Witvlei Village Council
⦁ Good communication and interpersonal skills;
⦁ Working knowledge of public Procurement Act.
⦁ No criminal record
⦁ Valid Code B Driver’s License.
Minimum Educational qualification and Experience requirement
⦁ Diploma or Degree in Public Management/ Public Administration/ Management or Business Administration
⦁ Be Namibian citizen
⦁ Profound knowledge of local governance
⦁ A sense of integrity
⦁ Leadership and management skills
⦁ Five (5) years’ experience at middle management level
⦁ No criminal record or pending criminal cases
⦁ A driver’s license

20% of Basic Salary per annum
(Without a Mortgage)/ 40% of
Basic Salary per annum
(with a Mortgage)
85% Council Contribution
21.7% Council Contribution

Main Performance Areas:
⦁ Managing and directing the Council’s operations on good governance and accountability principles
⦁ Develop and achieving the Council’s strategic vision and goal
⦁ To initiate and direct the development of the Strategic plan and processes
⦁ To provide strategic direction to advance the Council mission and objectives.
⦁ Implementation of Council’s Strategic Objectives and decisions
⦁ To oversee and enforce Council policies and procedures to enhance Council integrity including corporate governance.
⦁ To initiate and ensure implementation of the Council financial measures to enable proper/effective management of the Council.
⦁ To manage land delivery and allocation, infrastructure and technical services
⦁ To ensure the image of the Council is upheld and manages key.
