Chef De Partie
MAIN MISSIONS
Training and development, coaching and performance reviews.
Ensure the smooth operations & function of all F&B outlets and kitchen along with the Head Chef.
Set & provides recommendations regarding the profitability of the departments.
Set the standard for food & beverage service and presentation, and constantly improve.
Works closely with Head Chef to ensure that all F & B department is well trained and proficient in their jobs.
Ensure all SOP’s are in place regarding cleanliness in all outlets.
Submit reports on a timely basis.
Excellent stock and portion control.
Maintains impeccable guest contract & public relations.
Ensures that hotel policy and procedures adhere to brand standards.
REQUIRED EDUCATION & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Vocational certificate or diploma in F&B or related field.
A minimum of 3 years ‘experience in all aspects of the Food & Beverage division.
With at least 3 years of experience as F&B Chef.
SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Excellent Cook, presentation, and F&B skills.
Customer orientated.
Excellent presentation.
Disciplined and sober habits.
Attention to cleanliness and hygiene.
Able to work under pressure.
Able to work in shifts (night, weekends &/or holidays).
A thorough and organized approach, and the ability to adapt.
With outstanding team-leading skills, good training, and knowledge transfer skills.
