Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare delicious and diverse meals for lodge guests, ensuring exceptional quality and
presentation.
Design menus that showcase local ingredients and flavors, providing guests with an authentic
taste of Namibia.
Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and
maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.
Collaborate with lodge staff to accommodate special dietary requirements and guest preferences.
Train and supervise kitchen staff to uphold standards of excellence in food preparation and
service.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a chef in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a lodge or resort setting.
Creative flair and a passion for exploring new culinary techniques and ingredients.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
