The Namibia Training Authority Is inviting applications for the following position.

CENTRE MANAGER (GRADE 1) (RE-ADVERTISEMENT)

Duty Station: Okakarara Vocational Training Centre (OVTC)

Reporting to: Chief Operations Officer

Purpose: To manage and provide leadership to the Vocational Training Centre in order to deliver quality training and related services in line with the NTA’s Strategic Plan and the identified needs of stakeholders.

Key Performance Areas

• Institutional Leadership: Assume responsibility for the management of the Centre and its Hote School
• Financial Management: Assume responsibility for annual budget and funding allocations
• Quality Training Services: Oversee compliance to national standards of Vocational Education and Training
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain sound relations with NTA/Government/industry stakeholders
• Administration: Assume responsibility for all required reports and reviews
• Staff Management Developing and maintaining man power to achieve center’s objective

Qualifications and Experience

• Technical Diploma
• Relevant Honour’s Degree or equivalent qualification at (NQF Level 8)
• Ten (10) years’ technical experience of which five (5) years’ is on middle management
