Generally, a Grade 10 or 12 certificate is sufficient, along with basic numeracy skills. Previous cash handling or customer service experience is often preferred but not always mandatory, as on-the-job training is common.

Daily tasks include processing fuel and convenience store sales, accurately handling cash and card transactions, and providing friendly customer service. You'll also be responsible for maintaining a tidy checkout area and reconciling your till at the end of your shift.
