Job Advertisement: Buyer Position
Are you a skilled and experienced professional in purchasing and supply chain management? Do you possess exceptional numerical skills and the ability to navigate complex supply chains? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join a team as a Buyer.
Main Duties: As a Buyer, you will be responsible for demand-based purchasing and forecasting for bulk orders from both SADC suppliers and international vendors. You will handle inter-branch movements of stock, process the receiving of goods and claims, and maintain various data sets. Additionally, periodic stock counts will be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements: Education & Experience
- Grade 12 with at least 10+ years of buying experience OR
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management with 3-5 years of buying experience.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English proficiency will be tested during the interview process.
- Knowledge of German will be considered an advantage.
- Exceptional numerical skills
- Good knowledge of Excel proficiency will be tested during the interview process.
- Some experience in stock control and warehousing will be advantageous.
