Key Responsibilities

• Manage departmental targets and profitability.
• Manage all stock functions: ordering, maintaining stock levels/range, ensure rotation and more.
• Manage Pricing, promotions and customer orders.
• Conducting equipment maintenance checks and reporting of issues.
• Maintain and ensure strict hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain and ensure strict Health & Safety procedures.
• Manage and train staff to maintain high performance and team-work, ensuring staff discipline.
• Ensure high customer satisfaction and product quality.
• Store opening and closing duties.

Requirements

• Grade 12 (NQF level 4)
• Tertiary qualifications in Business management / Retail / Butchery, alternatively minimum of 5 years experience in Butchery management.
• Experience with SIGMA system of advantage
• Computer literate / strong organizational skills required
• Staff management experience and strong leadership skills
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines
• Needs to work every second weekend and willingness to work additional hours if required
• A positive and professional attitude and the ability to work well in a team
• Driver’s license of advantage
