BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER – Africa Personnel Services (APS)

DESCRIPTION

The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator who can seek opportunities for expansion and growth by developing new business relationships in the recruiting field. Ultimately, the unit manager must be driven by a desire to lead our business to maximize
market position, through productivity and efficiency.

OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE

To manage and develop the APS Recruitment function into a world-class system
Develop an innovative Market Value Proposition for existing and new clients
Manage and expand existing and new sales pipeline and initiatives
Develop systems and procedures that would enhance our efficiencies and effectiveness in meeting customer demands
Develop the business unit’s capabilities in relevant strategic objectives

RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor, evaluate, and capitalize on industry trends and customer drivers
Develop and enhance the executive team’s ability to strategy execution through continuous development initiatives
Manage Value Proposition process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation
Manage the ongoing Sales Pipeline, developing innovative approaches and skills to generate and close leads
Manage and build recruitment systems and procedures
Support pricing and other relevant financial KPI structures to ensure customer uptake and unit profitability
Deliver on the strategic goal

REQUIREMENTS
IMPORTANT SKILLS (Proof of skills is essential)

Ability to analyse and provide innovative solutions to Customer Needs
Team Development and Motivation
Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to plan and manage resources
Usage of recruitment systems and platforms

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
5 or more years experience within a senior/mid-management role (GM, Ops Manager, etc.)
Success track record and experience in an Industrial Psychological and Recruitment role will be an advantage
A relevant Business related degree is preferred
