Primary Purpose: Drive business growth through proactively identifying and pursuing new business opportunities whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with customers. Key Performance Areas are New Business Development, Customer Relationship Management and Leadership.
Job description
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement business development plans.
- Take the lead in conducting market research.
- Maintain relationships with existing customers and establish relationships with new customers
- Take the lead in the implementation and management of the Customer Relationship Management system
- Provide leadership in collaborative initiatives across the business with regards to new business opportunities and strengthen existing customer relationships
- Provide mentorship, coaching and development support to junior roles in customer relationship management and customer and industry knowledge
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Masters degree in Business Administration would be a distinct advantage.
- Five (5) years’ experience in business development
- Two (2) years senior supervisory or management experience
- Nambian citizen
