Position: Bricklayer x2

Location: Ondangwa

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing and interpreting building plans.
• Interpreting work orders and determining the materials required.
• Measuring distance from reference points.
• Calculating angles and determining the vertical and horizontal alignment of courses.
• Laying building materials, such as brick, structural tile, and concrete cinder, glass, gypsum, and terra cotta block to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, sewers, and other structures: Measures distance from reference points and marks guidelines on working surface to lay out work.
• Fastening bricks with wire clamps or cement.
• Working safely on scaffolds and swing stages at various heights.
• Using equipment and tools effectively to perform basic construction tasks

Requirements:

• Grade 12 High school certificate
• Minimum N3 level in Bricklaying and Plastering
• Minimum of 3 years industry experience on a

construction site.

• Police Certificate of conduct (not older than 8 months)
• Knowledge of materials, methods and the tools involved in bricklaying and the construction of buildings.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Experience in tiling will be an advantage
