Core Purpose & Key Responsibilities:

 

 

* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, and ensure the operational challenges are effectively resolved.
* Ensure excellent customer service at the branch and maintain strong relationships with clients.
* Manage the appearance of the branch and protection of company assets.
* Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, reporting, and collection of debtors.
* Develop business plans that will enable the branch to meet agreed company objectives.
* Evaluate local market conditions and identify potential opportunities.
* Manage and control all inventory held at the branch and the national warehouse.
* Manage the branch’s activities to ensure that financial and administrative procedures, standards and objectives are met.
* Maximize the branch profitability according to agreed budgets.
* Lead, mentor, and manage a team to ensure high motivation and performance levels.
* Identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions for development.
* Report to Tiger Wheel & Tyre Namibia Operations Manager.

 

 

Experience Required:

 

 

* A minimum of 5 years of management experience in the retail industry.
* Strong leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage teams effectively.
* Effective selling, communication, interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
* Sound understanding of management principles, including industrial relations.
* Sound working knowledge of any main ERP, and experience in SAGE will be an advantage

 

 

Minimum Requirements:

 

 

* Grade 12 (Matric) with a minimum of 23 points.
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Management, Sales, or a related field will be an advantage.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* Valid Driver’s License.
