Rennies Logistics (Pty) Ltd is a 3PL service provider focused on the FMCG sector of the Namibian market, through a network of operations covering the whole of the country. Rennies Logistics Group is a member of the Bidvest Namibia Group. We are currently looking for a Branch Manager: Logistics, to be based in Walvisbay.

The incumbent will be responsible for but not

Ensure all vehicles are licensed and COF

Loadmasters and driver allocation

Analyses daily and monthly reports take action when required

Identify driver training needs and Implementation of driver training program

Compare and display operational effectiveness in terms of branch best practice

Spot checks on overtime, log sheets accident investigations.

Approve vehicle maintenance program with operations

Responsible for implementation of service program.

Analyses and manage main areas of cost (spares, fuel and tyres)

Manage supplier contracts

Ensure price consistency in market by review prices between suppliers

Handling of customers complaints and to implement structures and systems to prevent future occurrence

Implementation of company policy for corporate identity vehicle image and cleanliness as well as driver presentation

Implementation of rate escalations and rate adjustments

 

Opportunity | Duty Requirement(s)

Grade 12 and Relevant B-tech Degree.

Minimum of 3 – 5 years’ experience in a middle Management position

Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of Microsoft office and relevant industry standard software

FMCG experience is a prerequisite.

Own vehicle with valid driver’s license.
