About the Company
The Namibia Fish Consumption Promotion Trust (NFCPT) is a Namibian government initiative established to significantly increase fish consumption among the nation's populace. Operating an extensive network of retail fish shops, often known as 'Omafo' outlets, and mobile distribution units across all 14 regions of Namibia, the Trust ensures that fresh, affordable fish products are accessible, especially in inland areas where consumption was historically low. NFCPT's mandate centers on enhancing food security and improving nutritional well-being by providing a variety of fish species at subsidized prices. Through its strategic distribution and outreach, the Trust plays a crucial role in promoting healthier eating habits and creating local employment opportunities throughout Namibia.
