NAMIBIAN FEDERATION OFTHE VISUALLY IMPAIRED (NFVI)
POSITION: BRAILLE TYPIST
Primary responsibilities of the Job:
To lobby and advocate for the rights of persons with visual impairments by working in the Braille Unit. Translate print documents into Braille for persons with visual impairments, making information accessible. Typing and converting documents from one form to another and preparation of quotations for Braille production.
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Literacy
- At least 2 years of experience utilising a variety of computer programmes
- Accurate / fast typing ability
- Interest in and ability to work with persons with visual impairments
