BORDER POST COLLECTOR – RFA 327 views

Purpose of the position:

The primary purpose of this position is to assist road users in completing relevant documentation, ensure correct levies are paid for relevant vehicles, receive and verify payment and to provide a service to road users.

Key performance areas:

Verify the information on Cross Border Charges (CBC) application forms for CBC and Mass Distance Charges (MDC) (foreign registered vehicles) customers.
Provide foreign registered road users with information on RFA payments and procedures.
Issue CBC permits to foreign registered road users as per RFA policy and procedures.
Perform cash up and reconciliation procedures with Supervisor.
Customer service.

Experience and special knowledge requirements:

Minimum of two (2) years relevant working experience.
Customer service, logistics and transport will be an advantage.
Good numerical and administrative skills.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
Honesty and integrity.

Qualification Requirements:

Grade 12 (with a minimum of 20 points).
Proficiency in the Afrikaans language will be an added advantage.
