We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individuals to join our organisation. The available position is:

Bookkeeper

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accurately processing of bank statements into the accounting system
• Conduct accurate monthly reconciliations of every bank account
• Perform accurate reconciliation of Cash Clearing Accounts
• Reconcile daily takings receipts to corresponding bank deposits and sort out all discrepancies identified
• Maintain the Petty Cash Fund and conduct accurate monthly reconciliations of every Petty Cash account
• Prepare all month-end reports required by Management
• Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
• Provide administrative support to management as required
• Ensure that all deadline dates are met
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times

INHERENT REQUIREMENTS:

• Qualification in accounting or finance related field
• Sound knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel and use of web-based programs
• 3 years of full function bookkeeper experience
• Strong reconciliation skills, communication and telephone etiquette
• Self-motivated and able to use initiative
• Can handle high volume of pressure and be a team player
