Minimum requirements:

1. Minimum Qualifications/ Experience
2. Trade qualification in Mechanical Boiler-Making
3. 3-5 years’ experience required

Key Performance Areas:

1. Comply with the requirements of the Plant Quality Management System
2. Maintain SHEQ standards within the working environment
3. Keep logbooks updated and complete job cards timeously and correctly
4. Fabrication of component parts
5. Remove fabricated parts by means of cutting or arc gouging
6. Cut, punch and drill, assemble and mechanically join structural steel sheets
7. Cut materials using the oxy-fuel gas cutting process
8. Perform general grinding operations
9. Cut and grind steel by means of pedestals, bench or portable grinding or cutting machines
10. Assist with the designs of engineering components
11. Assemble and mechanically join sheets, plates, tubes, pipes and steel sections
12. Find cost-saving and cash conservation techniques
