B&E International North (Namibia)(Pty) Ltd. is a Namibian based company, operating mainly in the stone crushing, mineral processing and surface mining sectors. Our operation In Tsumeb requires suitably qualified and experienced persons to apply for the undermentioned position:
Available Position: Welder/Boilermaker
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s licence
- Police certificate of conduct (not older than 1 year)
- Recognised Welder /Boiler maker Trade Test Certificate with minimum 5 years post trade experience n crusting plant and earthmoving vehicle maintenance
- Minimum 2 years of experience m specific earthmoving vehicle bucket and bowl rebuilds, repairs & assemblies
- Experience with the assembly, erection and repairs of large crushing plant steel structures
- Experience with line-boring on earthmoving machines bucket pins
- Maintenance experience with mobile crushers screens and feeders
- Experience with working m an sulphuric acid environment and the associated challenges will be an added advantage
- Inspection testing and repairs of welding machines
- Good technical problem solving and troubleshooting ability
- Basic knowledge of a variety of welding techniques
- Excellent proficiency with power and hand tool operation
- Basic knowledge on various types of steels and then uses
- Be able to actively promote a safe working environment
