The Namibia Deposit Guarantee Authority is established in terms of the Namibia Deposit Guarantee Act (Act No. 16 of 2010) to manage and administer the Deposit Guarantee Scheme.

The Authority has an opportunity for one individual to Jon the current Board of Directors. This individual will be primarily responsible for Finance and Accounting related matters. Board of Directors of the Namibia Deposit Guarantee Authority are appointed by the Bank of Namibia with the approval of the Minister of Finance.

Applicants should possess relevant qualification and experience in the field of Finance and Accounting. Chartered Accountants are highly recommended to apply. In addition to a qualification in Finance and Accounting, applicants must further have relevant experience and understanding of management and governance cnalenges gained at executive level.
