BLASTING SUPERINTENDENT – Beifang Mining

This role usually requires a valid Blasting Ticket specific to open-pit mining operations, alongside a relevant tertiary qualification in mining engineering or a related field. Extensive practical experience in blasting operations, safety management, and team supervision in a Namibian mining environment is also crucial.

Daily tasks involve planning, supervising, and executing drilling and blasting operations in accordance with stringent safety standards and production targets. This includes managing blasting crews, ensuring strict compliance with Namibian mining regulations, and optimising blasting outcomes for ore fragmentation.
