BLASTING FOREMAN – Beifang Mining

Candidates usually need a valid Blasting Certificate, often issued by the Namibian Ministry of Mines and Energy, along with extensive practical experience in surface or underground blasting operations. A relevant trade qualification, diploma in mining engineering, or supervisory experience in a mining environment is also highly valued.

A Blasting Foreman is primarily responsible for overseeing all blasting activities, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols and production targets. This involves planning blast designs, managing explosives, supervising blast crews, and maintaining equipment, often in remote and physically demanding conditions.
