BANK CLERK

Job Purpose
To deliver exceptional customer service to clients and product offering by providing excellent/superior sales service
by selling Bank BIC banking facilities

Key Responsibilities
• Attend to clients in a helpful and friendly manner
• Ensure that enquiries and complaints are dealt with in a professional manner
• Maintain long-lasting, meaningful relationship with customers
• Handle customers and their financial transactions through bank clerical functions
• Provide adequate product information to customers
• Open new accounts, update accounts and compile information
• Perform supervision and maintenance of ATM’s
• Remain abreast of new product and process developments
• Understand how to tailor product and services solutions to customers with differing needs and offer appropriate recommendations
• Compile information for loans in accordance with prescribed finance application procedures
• Identify changing and additional needs with regards to banking facilities – cross-selling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Branch Manager

Education & Experience Requirements:
⎯ Grade 12 with minimum of 25 points
⎯ Minimum of 2 years’ banking experience as Clerk/Teller
⎯ Banking Sales experience is a prerequisite
⎯ Excellent communication skills in English
⎯ Must be willing to work every second Saturday
⎯ Fluent in Portuguese will be an advantage
⎯ Computer literate
⎯ Namibian citizen
