You will diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy mining vehicles, trucks, and equipment. Daily tasks include maintaining battery systems, alternators, starters, and electronic control modules. Mining sites in Namibia often operate on a FIFO or residential basis with rotational shifts, commonly 2 weeks on and 1 week off. Punctuality and strict adherence to safety protocols are non-negotiable expectations. With experience, you can advance to senior auto electrician, workshop supervisor, or maintenance planner roles.
