ASSISTANT WAREHOUSE MANAGER – JOBS NAMIBIA

The assistant warehouse manager will be responsible for the effective daily activities of the warehouse operation. This will include receiving, shipping, inventory management and managing staff reporting to the assistant warehouse manager.

Essential duties and responsibilities
Supervising and assisting in the unloading/loading of containers.
Receipt all stock on the system as per the physical quantities received.
Create production orders and ensuring the bill of materials are loaded correctly on the system.
Follow up with forwarders regarding incoming shipments.
Preparing outgoing shipments and ensure all documentation is in order.
Packing list
Commercial invoice (with HS codes)
Export instructions where applicable
Appropriate packaging is used
All outgoing shipments/orders are checked
Liaise with customers regarding the status of their orders.
Conduct weekly cycle counts.
Conduct quarterly wall to wall stock takes

Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
3-4 years previous warehouse experience preferred
Good communication, organizational, time management mathematical skills
Dependable and Reliable
Computer literate (excel)
Analytical
Attention to detail
Sense of urgency
