ASSISTANT RETAIL OUTLET MANAGER – PEOPLES FISH MARKET

REQUIREMENTS

• Grade 12 – a certificate or diploma in retail or business management is an advantage.

• Good leadership and communication skills.

• Able to work under pressure and take initiative.

• Honest, reliable, and trustworthy.

• Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

• Basic computer skills (POS systems, Excel, email).

• Strong customer service, leadership abilities, and team management skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist manager in the daily running of the retail shop.

• Supervise staff and ensure customer service standards are met.

• Ensure correct stock handling, including receiving, packing, and displaying stock.

• Handle customer queries, complaints professionally.

• Ensure the shop is clean, organized, and well-presented at all times.

• Support cash-up, banking, and till checks.

• Report daily sales, challenges, and staff performance to management.
