ASSISTANT PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICER – Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB)

DESCRIPTION 
The Namibian Agronomic Board (NAB) is a statutory body that is governed by the Agronomic
Industry Act (Act No. 20 of 1992). It is mandated to promote the agronomic and horticulture
industry and to facilitate the production, processing, storage and marketing of controlled
products in Namibia. The NAB is looking for suitable and competent candidates for the abovementioned position:
Reporting to Public Relations Officer
Duty Station: Windhoek, Namibia

Responsibilities:
• Assist with drafting content for the two NAB newsletters, Season’s Harvest & Green Eye.
Content is inclusive but not limited to, articles, notices, pictures, advertorials etc.
• Monitor the website queries directed to the Queries@nab.com.na and
complaints@nab.com.na email address daily, and keep a record of all queries to be
reviewed and analysed on a monthly basis.
• Monitor adherence to the NAB Corporate Identity (CI) Manual through support services to
all sub-divisions.
• Assist with monitoring social media queries and inboxes on the NAB Facebook and
LinkedIn pages, and prepare monthly reports.
• Draft appropriate content for NAB social media pages (Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp)
and the website.
• Inspect banners before signing them out to respective divisions for various stakeholder
engagements and inspect them upon return.
